I saw a picture on Pinterest of little crocheted owls. They were so cute I had to try and make one. I searched the picture back to original person who posted it, but no pattern was to be found. So, sitting at my computer, I crocheted and took out stitches (over and over) until I came up with something that looked similar to me. I used Sugar and Cream cotton yarn, used french knots for the eyes and embroidered the nose.
He is so cute...

Shower Cleaner...
So, I have to share with you the fabulous homemade soap scum cleaner that I found a couple of weeks ago. I tried it today for the first time - and it's FABULOUS! So easy to make, so easy to use. My shower and tub are so clean. You must try it.
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup Dawn dish soap
1 spray bottle
Heat vinegar in glass measuring cup for 2 minutes in the microwave. Pour it into a spray bottle. Add the Dawn dish soap. Mix and spray. Coat everything very good and walk away. After it's good and dry (I waited an hour) take a sponge or wash cloth and get it good and wet (I even wet the shower walls down too), wipe away and be AMAZED.
I have never used anything that clean the shower so well. No scrubbing needed. You will love it.
You will have to let me know if you tried and what you thought...

New Yarn for a New Blanket...
I am wanting to make a new crocheted blanket. I am thinking granny squares. I have seen so many pretty blankets (or afghans) lately, I really want to make one. I really like how this one looks and this one... I really love the way this blanket looks. Well, I still have time to decide because I want to finish my vintage stripe first. (I will share some updated pictures soon)
For now, I am enjoying my new colors. And, in case you were interested, they are Loops & Threads Impeccable in Aran, True Gray and Rouge. They make me very happy...
