So happy the weather is warmer, I was able to plant my tomatoes and new flowers. For about 2 weeks I was putting them in the garage at night just to be safe. After planting, I was able to relax for a few minutes with my book. I love Jodi Picoult, her books are so good.

Crochet Baby Hat...
Well, I think my new project turned out pretty good. Not only is this the first time I've followed a crochet pattern but it's also the first hat I've made. Unfortunately, I don't have a baby to model this cute little hat, so I used my daughters bear. Still cute.
I think my Nana would be proud...

New Project...
I have known how to crochet for most of my life. My Nana taught me when I young. I have made things here and there, mostly blankets, for my children and the occasional baby gift.
Well, I'm trying something new and I hope it turns out good. I'll let you know...

Coffee Cup Wrap...
First off, this week has been crazy busy, from work to doctor and orthodontist appointments. I am really happy the week is almost over. With that being said...
This coffee cup wrap was supper easy to make and it's so cute - I've used it all week. I made it reversible but so far I have only used the blue, yellow and green flowered side (I just love it so much). It fits my cheap 7-Eleven refillable coffee cup, which I mostly just fill up at home before going to work, really good. Soon I will have to take a trip to Starbucks and try it out there too.
I can't wait to make more.

Tole Painting...
Tole painting is something I use to do a lot, starting about 18 years ago. I have a scroll saw and use to cut out all of my own wood. I would sand it down smooth and prep it to paint. I made so many things to decorate my home and to give as gifts. I loved the whole process, from start to finish. Slowly I did it less and less, until not at all, mostly because of time and space. But I still love it. When we went on the Quilt Run last weekend, a couple of the quilt shops had tole painted signs out front. Seeing them makes me want to get out my brushes again. But, thinking of all the other things I want to craft stops me. Well, maybe one day...
So, I will just share with you a few of my tole painted projects from the past, please excuse my dust.

Plums and a Bracelet...
I noticed the other day that the plums are starting to grow on the tree. You can see the blossoms here. Usually they are quite sour, but the kids love to eat them...
And speaking of kids, my son is sick today :(
Now, on to the bracelet. I saw this tutorial about a week ago and love the look of these bracelets. I only had a navy blue fabric to work with but love the way it turned out. Can't wait to buy more colors to make more.
