Embroidery Class...

I have the best group of girls in my embroidery class. We have been working with basic stitches - like back stitch and split stitch - on really cute designs.

So, after learning the stitches and a little practice we have finished this cute pattern by Wild Olive...

...and we are currently working on this cute mermaid from Bad Bird.

Both are free designs and you can find them at the links below.

"Olive" You so much!

Mermaid

Enjoy your weekend.

  1. Hi Laura, I am one of your new followers and just happen to stumble across your blog and so happy I did. It is so lovely here! I used to embroidery a little many years ago but crochet took me away from it. Thanks so much for the inspiration for now I want to restart on a little something.
    Have a wonderful week.Shari!

  3. Aaaahh, your stitching is so neat! My embroidery usually looks like a hot mess. Maybe I should practice on that cute little mermaid. Happy stitching!

  6. I have been away from blogland for a while as I have been working on getting my house ready to sell and then my dog died which rendered me unable to think of anything to say in blogland at all. I have only just noticed that you nominated me for the Sunshine Award. I am so sorry - you must have thought me terribly rude. I don't join in with awards because I am always afraid of offending people but thankyou ever so much for thinking of me and once more - sorry. Lily. xxx
