I have been enjoying a busy yet productive Sunday. It is beautiful here with sunny skies and a breeze. I have been working on several projects lately. First, I can't seem to put down the third book in the Outlander series and it takes up a lot of my free time...
I have also been drawing a lot this past week for the purpose of embroidery. I have really feel in love with the Wild Olive blog and enjoy reading it every day.
Of coarse, I am still working on my Vintage Stripe blanket...
And I finally finished my pillow. I don't think I ever really told you about it though. It matches my Ripple Blanket...
And I used the sweater I purchased at the thrift store for the back. Funny how it took me almost a year to finally use it.
I got the idea from Lucy's (from Attic24) post about her pillow. You can read about it here...
Also, I am making macaroni salad to have with our BBQ tonight - yum...
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.
{hugs}

Lovely ripple pillow, the backing turned out great too! I will have to try that, as I'm saving several old sweaters. I love the Outlander series. Many years ago I went to a book convention in San Diego and Diana Gabaldon was there signing her first book. I bought one and still have it to this day. My sister and I tore through those books like a house on fire. They're great!
ReplyDeleteThe ripple is very pretty. I love seeing all those embroidery thread spooled and organised. I haven't embroidered for ages and ages but I always enjoy it when I do. xxx
