Anyway...
I am still working on getting you the embroidery pattern for my ladybug under the bunting strung between the flowers. I have issues with the scanner on my printer and I have been bad about remembering to take it with me to work to scan. Soon, I promise...
Here are a few pictures from when I made my mug rug.
My stash of thread...
My stash of fabric...
Everything is sewn by machine except the binding. I folded over the edges, mitered the corners and pressed and pinned it down. Then I stitched it by hand. I also used a decorative stitch down both sides of the yellow fabric for a different look.

adorable. I love it
ReplyDeleteI love this. Your embroidery work is so amazing!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about just wanting to lay down to sleep. When the kids have sporting events, like tournaments, sometimes at the end of the day, I feel like I have been the one playing. My son just finished a baseball tournament in 100 degree weather and I'm so done.
I like the picture of all your thread spools. Fun in a box!
Wow - that is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteYour mug mat is so very pretty. I have zero sewing skills, but have been doing lots of crochet and cross-stitch. Both my boys played Little League for 8 years each so with the overlapping years, I spent 10 years running to and from the baseball field, sometimes 5 days a week, sometimes several times in a day. This past year is the first year I didn't have to run all over the place for baseball since my youngest decided to "retire" :) It was so refreshing to have time just for me again. :) Have a fabulous day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteNow that is absolutely adorable!
